We are John & Linda Phillips of Cho's Tae Kwon Do
Wexford. We are professionally qualified 3rd degree Black
belts within the Action International Martial Arts
Association.
The A.I.M.A.A is one of the most exciting martial
arts associations in the World and is headed by
World renowned Grandmaster Hee Il Cho 9th Degree.
Our schools teaches
traditional Tae Kwon Do, self defence and overall
fitness for children and adults. Our schools are
professionally run and are under the guidance of
Grandmaster Hee Il Cho and our European Director
Master John Darcy and A.I.M.A.A Regional Director
Master Peter Byrne.
Currently we run over
eight different
school in various locations within the Wexford area, teaching over 1,000 classes per
year. During the last few years we have been
involved in teaching self-defence in several secondary schools in
Wexford and surrounding areas as part of the
transition year and leaving cert programs.
Having started Tae Kwon
Do over eight years ago, we have went on to
compete at National and International level, and
between us hold National and World titles. We are
also fully qualified R.A.P.E defence instructors and
are fully insured and CRB registered.
Students who train with
us in Wexford, have excelled in the art of Tae Kwon Do
and many have also won National and International
titles. In 2000 in the World Championships in
Dublin, our students won 24 medals, however in 2004
in a return to the World Championships our students
returned with 44 World Titles.
Currently we have over 40 Black Belt
certified students within the Wexford schools.
We continue to work within the community in local
schools and have worked for the Wexford area partnership.
In 2008 we won the St Patrick's day parade, as
well as being honoured by A.I.M.A.A as "Instructors
of the Year 2008".
